New Years Resolution: Use Ebates!

Image
Happy Holidays! Hope Santa was good to you all - it was a crazy holiday for us, and now I can't believe it's almost 2015. Wow - where has the year gone? Seems like it was last week when we were all making New Years resolutions for 2014.  Today, I wanted to talk about Ebates - the world's largest FREE website offering you cash back for online shopping. It's so easy - you sign up free (use my link HERE ). Then every time you shop online, start at the Ebates website to link to your favorite retailer website. Often times, there are special or promotional cash back percentages for a limited time. In addition, you will occasionally find very nice coupon codes for your favorite retailer. All this helps to save you money - and that quarterly cash back check is pretty nice. :-)  Speaking of that cash back check, you can opt for a paper check (this is what I do) or have your rebates sent to your Paypal. As a matter of information, you can see my numbers above. I joined...

Neiman Marcus+ Target Designer Collaboration

Image
Unless you were in hiding this past weekend, you know two things. #1 - Alabama won the SEC championship and is playing Notre Dame for the BCS National championship in January, and #2 - the Neiman Marcus + Target collection launched in stores and online on Saturday.  The collection features 24 of America's most popular designers, all members of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). In recognition of these designers and their contribution to the collection, Neiman Marcus and Target donated a total of $1 million to the CFDA.  I will admit to staying up a little bit late (early!) to hit the websites as soon as the collection was available. So far, I have purchased the Tory Burch Lunch Box for $19.99 and Printed Beverage Container for $19.99. (both are available on Neiman Marcus website  HERE ). Stylish options for taking one's lunch to work, right? A fan on Facebook indicated she purchased five of these, and was planning to give them to her daughter to u...

Cyber Monday Deals & Steals

Image
Have you been busy shopping this Cyber Monday? I've seen several bloggers post today about their favorite preppy and shopping deals, and I don't want to duplicate what you are seeing everywhere else. However, I'll tell you about a few fun things you might like!  Over on Ebates , there are a TON of retailers offering additional cash back this Cyber Monday. Some of my favorites include:  10% Cash Back at Old Navy and Gap, 6% Cash Back at J. Crew, 6% Cash Back at Bloomingdale's, 20% Cash Back at Snapfish (holiday cards, anyone?), 7% Cash Back at Kate Spade, 52% Cash Back at Magazines.com, 12% Cash Back at Origins (plus $10 off $25 purchase with code "TENOFF"). Also in some of the best news I've seen on Ebates in forever - Ebay is back! Yes, you can now get that Cash Back for linking through Ebates to Ebay. You can join Ebates FREE with my link HERE . Since joining Ebates , I have earned over $430 for doing what I was planning to do anyway - shop online!...

Can Someone Please Hide My Wallet?

Image
And while you're at it, can you erase any card numbers stored in my memory? Heaven help me. Lilly Pulitzer will be a featured boutique on Rue La La today, starting at 10AM Central, 8AM Pacific. I have to admit, I've been a little disappointed in the past few Lilly Pulitzer events on Rue La La. However, you just never know what Rue La La has in store. My advice? Be there early, and use the "Quick Buy" feature if you "need" something. Chances are, if you want it, someone else does too! (your free invite to Rue La La is HERE , if you're not already a member). Side note: I love that RLL accepts Paypal!  As if this wasn't enough, the Trina Turk for Banana Republic collection is now online. I am dying over sooo many pieces in this collection, and trying to be reasonable about my purchases at the same time. Isn't that an oxymoron? HA! My plan is to limit purchases to items I can wear to work. (stop laughing now, please). I've narrowed my imm...

Online Shopping Reminder

Image
Happy Sunday! Today I'm busy getting the DH ready to go out of town again tomorrow. It's been a wonderful holiday week and weekend, especially with him at home. Hope yours has been fantastic as well.  Every year, it seems I do a little more of my holiday shopping online. It's just so convenient and easy - avoiding the crowds, the traffic and the parking hassles. In addition, I know for certain I don't overspend as much when I shop online vs. in the store. Those "impulse purchases" really get me in the stores! How about you?  While you're shopping online, don't forget to check the Ebates site to see if your store is offering cash back. I'm always amazed at the wide selection of online merchants and the cash back %'s that are offered. Just today, I noticed that Sephora was at 8% cash back. Wow! Many of the online retailers are offering increased %'s for the Black Friday - Cyber Monday time period. Some of my favorite deals on Ebate...

Which Bag Do You Like Best?

Image
Today, I am very tempted by the Kate Spade Surprise Sale. I've been using my Lilly Pulitzer Mar-A-Lago tote bag in Gold for quite some time now, and it's looking a little worse for the wear. While I love colored handbags, I tend to always reach for a neutral bag in metallic tones.  These two pretties are on my radar. I'd love to purchase one and only have until tonight to decide which one!  Yardley Medium Serena, $139 sale price, regular price $345 Wrightsville Lori, $139 sale price, $345 regular price Both bags are close to the same size....the main difference is that the Yardley is pebbled leather and the Wrightsville is a smooth shiny leather. Also the Wrightsville has MY name in the title so it makes me think I "need" her. I can pretend she is named after me, after all. :-)  If you order from the Kate Spade surprise sale, don't forget to link through your Ebates account to earn 3.5% cash back on your purchase. If you're not a member of E...

Kate Spade Sample Sale: The Turtle is MINE!

Image
This morning I was thrilled to see the above email from Ebates - Kate Spade Sample Sale time!  Of course I had no intentions of ordering another handbag - and I am proud to say I didn't. (Seriously, another bag isn't high on my "must have" list right now). But of course I had to take a quick look through the offerings... And there is was! I couldn't believe it!  Holy moly - the Kate Spade Sea Glass ring (I'm calling it the turtle!). Some of your will remember that when I was in Charlotte last month, I found this exact ring at Nordstrom Rack. (link to that post HERE ).  However, I was so disappointed because it wasn't my size and therefore, I walked away empty handed.  The Sample Sale has this ring available in sizes 6, 7 and 8 - and the best part - it's only $39 (retail $128). You better believe, I couldn't add this little gem to my cart fast enough and the Sea Glass is now on it's way to my house! Score! :-)  There are so many ot...
