Happy Monday, Shopaholics! Hope you had a great weekend! It turned cold around these parts on Sunday - I'm freezing to death! We don't get 30 degrees very often here at the beach and I can't say I'm enjoying it! Today I am excited to introduce you to a jewelry designer I recently discovered - Jewelry by Margaret. This new Etsy shop (link HERE ) is the creation of my friend Margaret in Florida. Jewelry by Margaret specializes in custom handmade jewelry - perfect for gifts, bridal parties or everyday wear. Happy Wednesday everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful "hump day" - today the DH has a day off work. One would think that might mean "Fun Day" but alas, no. We have an appointment and then some work happening in our kitchen...guess the beach will have to wait! With graduation and wedding season in full swing, I'd like to talk about thank you notes and their importance. Is it just me, or does it seem people just don't write handwritten notes much anymore? I know many bloggers have discussed this in the past, and of course we all have our own opinion. For me personally, I feel it's extremely bad manners to not send a thank you note that is handwritten. Email just won't do in most cases! My Rules/Suggestions for Thank you notes: 1) When someone sends me a gift, I send them a thank you note, unless I live under the same roof as the gift giver. Looking 4 Lilly is a favorite Etsy shop, with all items created by my talented friend Kristina in sunny California. Kristina actually has two Etsy shops, one for "modern" Lilly fabrics and the other for "vintage" Lilly fabric creations. Kristina creates many beautiful items, including headbands, handbags, pincushions, etc. Her headband are extremely popular among Lilly Pulitzer lovers!
