New Years Resolution: Use Ebates!

Image
Happy Holidays! Hope Santa was good to you all - it was a crazy holiday for us, and now I can't believe it's almost 2015. Wow - where has the year gone? Seems like it was last week when we were all making New Years resolutions for 2014.  Today, I wanted to talk about Ebates - the world's largest FREE website offering you cash back for online shopping. It's so easy - you sign up free (use my link HERE ). Then every time you shop online, start at the Ebates website to link to your favorite retailer website. Often times, there are special or promotional cash back percentages for a limited time. In addition, you will occasionally find very nice coupon codes for your favorite retailer. All this helps to save you money - and that quarterly cash back check is pretty nice. :-)  Speaking of that cash back check, you can opt for a paper check (this is what I do) or have your rebates sent to your Paypal. As a matter of information, you can see my numbers above. I joined...

Affordable Fashion from Paisley of Daniel Island

Image
We all love to shop designer - and we all love a great deal. Right? And how about knowing that we are supporting a small business that is female owned? That makes it even better! And getting FREE shipping every day - that's just the icing on the cake!  Meet my friend Anna's store, Paisley of Daniel Island . Paisley is a fun, upbeat boutique that specializes in affordable and unique clothing and accessories and is located in beautiful and fashionable Charleston, South Carolina. Paisley carries fabulous brands like Tracy Negoshian, Escapada, Hatley, Jude Connally and many others. But the good news is that even if you're not local to Charleston (and not lucky enough to be on vacation there) - you can still shop with Paisley.  And today only - Paisley is offering 20% off one item. It's a great opportunity to pick up a new dress or tunic from some of our favorite designers! Or - maybe you need a new monogrammed clutch? Here are a few of my favorite picks that are incl...

Shopaholic Favorite Tunic: The Virginia By Jules Reid

Image
You guys know me - I love, love, love my tunics! However - most of my favorite designer tunics are only appropriate for spring and summer wear. It's as if once the weather turns cool, tunics are out of sight and out of mind.  Enter Jules Reid to the rescue! Jules Reid is one of my favorite designers, you might remember one of my previous posts about her beachy-chic collection (see it HERE ). Jules' designs are absolutely gorgeous and oh so chic. I am in love with her Virginia Tunic , and am wearing one in the photo above.  The Virginia tunic is a great option for work. In the picture, I paired my newest Virginia with a black pencil skirt and black wedges - and it was a perfect "wear to work" look. You have to remember that I work in the mortgage business, so I'm constantly trying to find ways to work my favorite designers into my Monday-Friday wardrobe without looking like a tourist on vacation at the office. :-)  Another thing I like about the Jules...

Neiman Marcus+ Target Designer Collaboration

Image
Unless you were in hiding this past weekend, you know two things. #1 - Alabama won the SEC championship and is playing Notre Dame for the BCS National championship in January, and #2 - the Neiman Marcus + Target collection launched in stores and online on Saturday.  The collection features 24 of America's most popular designers, all members of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). In recognition of these designers and their contribution to the collection, Neiman Marcus and Target donated a total of $1 million to the CFDA.  I will admit to staying up a little bit late (early!) to hit the websites as soon as the collection was available. So far, I have purchased the Tory Burch Lunch Box for $19.99 and Printed Beverage Container for $19.99. (both are available on Neiman Marcus website  HERE ). Stylish options for taking one's lunch to work, right? A fan on Facebook indicated she purchased five of these, and was planning to give them to her daughter to u...

Quit Your Job, Buy A Ticket, Get A Tan, Fall In Love, Never Return: Island Company Brightens Up A Monday!

Image
Doesn't that sound like a dream on a Monday morning? Who doesn't want to quit their job, buy a ticket to paradise, get a tan in paradise, fall in love (quite possibly again with the same person you already love!), and never return? The folks at Island Company  are making it easy for us to at least act like that's what we're doing everyday!  I recently discovered Island Company and love all of their products! They are headquartered in West Palm Beach (not a surprise, huh?). Island Company is a focused lifestyle brand featuring women's and men's apparel, accessories, sun care, and lots of fun things. The brand is a perfect match to our lifestyle here on the Alabama Gulf Coast.  Today, I will be sporting the Quit Your Job Tervis Tumbler on my desk at work. Think everyone will understand that I'm not happy to be working on a Monday? HA! You can get yours HERE on their website.  The folks at Island Company were kind enough to send me a few products to rev...

Glam Grab Accessory Auctions: A New Fun Shopping Experience

Image
If you're not yet a fan of Glam Grab Accessory Auctions on Facebook , you are missing out! Glam Grab provides a new, exciting way to shop for designer inspired contemporary jewelry and accessories. Their prices are fantastic, with most items under $35. This is a great place to get your bling without breaking the bank.  Personally, I have always maintained a large jewelry "wardrobe". I like to mix trendy fashion jewelry with my gold, diamonds and pearls. Trends come and go, so it's smart to spend less on those pieces (and more on the jewelry you'll hand down from generation to generation). Here is how the Glam Grab Accessory Auctions work. First, you want to "like" the Glam Grab page on Facebook HERE . Then, register on the website HERE . After taking these two steps, you'll all set to shop their accessory auctions. The auctions are held on Mondays at 7:30PM Central and Wednesdays at 11:00AM Central on the Facebook page HERE . When you se...

First Look: New Fall & Gameday Collection from Tracy Negoshian

Image
It's well documented around these parts - I love all of Tracy Negoshian's designs. What initially attracted me to the brand were her "gameday" dresses, however I wear her designs to work as well and they are perfect! Whether you're looking for a stylish, attractive and flattering dress for gamedays during the fall, a casual dress for evenings out, or something unique for your work wardrobe - Tracy Negoshian does not disappoint!  Here is your first look at the new Tracy Negoshian Fall collection. The line debuts this morning on the TN website (link HERE ) - but you don't have to wait, you can see it here on Shopaholic In Alabama before anyone else!  The dress pictured above is the Ruth - and will be the first addition to my Fall wardrobe. I plan to wear this dress to the Alabama vs. Michigan game at Cowboys Stadium in a few short weeks! With the houndstooth sleeves and elephant design, what an absolutely perfect dress for Alabama gamedays!  Here is ano...

Tracy Negoshian: Everything's On Sale!

Image
Happy Monday, Shopaholics!  So many of us love our Tracy Negoshian dresses and tunics, right? And if you're like me - nothing sucks you in faster than a big sale! :-) Starting today, everything (even the Summer collection!) is on sale over at the Tracy Negoshian website (link HERE ).  I just ordered the Molly dress (above, view on website HERE ) and am planning to wear it sometime during my birthday weekend. Which is rapidly approaching in less than two weeks, yikes!  And since I'm a huge fan of a wrap dress, I'm also debating the Jeana Ruffle Wrap Dress - I can't decide which print I like the best. (view the Jeana HERE ).  Are you planning to shop the big Tracy Negoshian sale? If so, let me know what you purchase and where you plan to wear your fabulous finds!  Have a fantastic day!
