Happy Labor Day!  After arriving home very late last night (actually, this morning) from TX, I am enjoying a relaxing day at home and trying to get my house in order! Hope you are enjoying this Labor Day holiday! I'll be back tomorrow with some fun pictures from the Alabama game!  Have a great evening, and if you had the day off work - savor it. I know I am doing just that. :-) 

Happy Labor Day!  I hope you are enjoying a day off work, with family and friends, in the bright sunshine! I'm sure lots of you are at the beach, squeezing in that last "unofficial" summer weekend. Others are probably having backyard barbecues, grilling out and enjoying time with loved ones.  We are experiencing Tropical Storm Lee here on the Gulf Coast. Hopefully the rain rain will go away very soon (hey, I can dream!) and we can get a much needed dose of sunshine! While it's great to have DH home for the weekend, we're getting a little bit of cabin fever around these parts! How are you celebrating the Labor Day holiday? Have a safe and fun day! 

Happy Saturday everyone!  Earlier this week, it was announced that Kid Rock was performing on Labor Day at The Wharf in Orange Beach. As many of my readers and friends know, he is one of my favorites. I don't mind embracing my "inner redneck" and admitting my fascination with Kid Rock. One day I'll tell y'all the story of meeting him in the DFW airport... This morning me and my BFF Ashleigh spent three hours outside , in the rain , getting tickets for the concert. Although we were soaked and not comfortable in the least - we were able to get the eight tickets needed for our group to all sit together!  Soooo excited for this one. I love an outdoors concert, and Kid Rock....oh yeah, baby! We are so there! :-)  Hope you have a Spectacular Saturday!  p.s. Happy Wednesday! Did you guys think I dropped off the face of the earth or what? There was non stop activity here over the weekend, starting with the Alabama game on Saturday night in Tuscaloosa. Then all our family came down and spent the weekend with us here at the beach. We had a blast, but I have to say, I'm exhausted! :-) This time of year makes me a little sad. It's the end of summer - maybe not according to the calendar just yet, but certainly "they" say it's the end of summer. Unquestionably, the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting slightly cooler. :-( Speaking of, how do you feel about wearing white after Labor Day? Do you? If so, white jeans? Capris? Skirts? Shoes? I have mixed feelings on the topic, as it's sometimes difficult to manage living in a place that stays so hot for so long.
