Wish List Wednesday!

Happy Hump Day, Shopaholics! Quick update, took Mother to her dr. appointment yesterday. They have scheduled another round of tests on Friday morning (very early, I might add) and hopefully we'll know more then. Thanks again for all your comments and kind wishes, they have been greatly appreciated!

Welcome to my newest edition of Wish List Wednesday! This will be my last Wish List post for a few weeks, as next Wednesday I have a special surprise coming to the blog! :-)

Chapman Dress, Hotty Pink Tisket Tasket, Lilly Pulitzer, $178

Raquel Dress, True Navy Anchors Away, Lilly Pulitzer, $258

More than anything, I really, really am DYING to renew my wedding vows in one of the new "Lilly Bride" dresses. Can I just get married again? Good for me, I have a while to attempt talking DH into a renewal ceremony, as this line won't debut until late 2010. Just think - beach wedding, Lilly Bride, no oil. My idea of heaven. :-)

What do you think of my favorites? Of course there are more (always!) but I try to keep the coveting to a manageable level. :-)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

  1. I have that exact Chapman dress and I love it. I'm going to be an enabler and say that you should get it! It's lightweight, but the sleeves make it work for multiple seasons. Wear it with McKims or Jack Rogers now and in the fall- a cute pair of flats and a scarf.

  4. Great choices. I love the Raquel, it's so summery and comfortable. I wear it with the sleeves loose rather than rolled up.

I just left you an award on my blog....

  5. I love wedding dresses too! I spent a fortune on mine and I wore it on my 10th. I know most people wait until 25 yrs to renew but I could still fit into it. I'm thinking of pulling it out for my 15th this year too.

When Target had $200 wedding dresses a couple years ago, I was really tempted.

  8. I love the Chapman dress. About wedding gowns - I agree. It's so tempting as the gowns are so much prettier now than when I was getting married!

  10. I just got that exact pink Chapman dress today, and LOVE it! It fits really well, much better than the Andover, in my opinion. And the cut-outs on the arms and collar are so pretty. It was on sale at Belk for only $105. Can't complain there. :)
