Shopaholic in Alabama

We all have those stores that are "Danger Zones". Perhaps yours is clothing, shoes, accessories, crafting, home decor, furniture, or electronics? Most of us have several of those type stores (I have more than I'd like to admit) - but one of my all time favorite "Danger Zones" is Bed Bath and Beyond.  The reason for my visit to BB&B is usually pretty simple. Last week, I needed a new pair of sheets for our master bedroom. Easy, right? Perhaps if you can go in, get the one item you're looking for and then leave - yes. Easy peasy. Thank goodness I have a stockpile of those "20% off one single item" coupons! (Did you know - you can use multiples of those at one time? My store will allow me to use 5 coupons per transaction.) TGIF! Are you getting ready for a fun weekend, or have you already started your 4th of July holiday week? Of course summer on the Gulf Coast means fun in the sun - and let's face it - the folks at Southern Tide know all about having fun in the sun. Are you constantly searching for the perfect beach hat? Perhaps your requirements are the same as mine: your beach hat must be stylish, it must be comfortable, and preferably it matches everything in your closet. While I love the idea of a colored or printed beach hat, it rarely works for me in real life. Over and over again, I reach for a neutral hat on beach days. I was thrilled to find the above hat in my local Target. It was an absolute steal at only $14.99. The designer is Mossimo and the official style name is "Mossimo Supply Co Tan Shine Floppy Hat". What makes this hat so special? That shine is a gold-tone, so the hat really looks pretty in the sunlight. It's also large and floppy enough that it protected by face for a full day at the beach, and I didn't return home with a sunburned nose. :-)  What do you think of my new hat? It's a dreary day on the Alabama Gulf Coast. It's raining outside, and the sky is a weird shade of gray-black. We're under a tornado warning. This weather is making me seriously wish for the bright and sunny days of summer!  Endless Summer, anyone? I wish! Until then, I will have to settle for the beach towel I found on One Kings Lane this morning. I found it hiding in the "Artist Editions - Beach Towels" boutique. Welcome to Temptation Tuesday!  If you're like me, your inbox is flooded every day with sale notices from all the flash sale websites. Most of the time, I just take a quick look at the boutiques or designers featured and am able to walk away without ordering a single thing. However, there is the occasional day that I literally want.everything.I.see. It was that way yesterday on One Kings Lane.
