Last Thursday, I was in a major state of indecision trying to determine which Kate Spade bag I "needed" from their surprise sale. Many of you will remember my post HERE .  After 7pm Thursday night, I finally decided the Yardley bag would be the best fit for my lifestyle and it was more of an everyday bag. So I settled in my comfy chair to order... I bet you already know where this is heading...Yardley was SOLD OUT. I was so disappointed, I'd already emptied out my Lilly Pulitzer Mar-A-Lago bag and was ready to begin carrying Yardley. So instead of ordering another bag that I didn't want as much, I walked away from the computer and didn't purchase anything.  As luck would have it in my Shopaholic society, sadness was short lived. The very next day, my favorite Lilly Pulitzer corporate store emailed about a wonderful sale. Fall Lilly collection! On sale! TGIF, Shopaholics! Any big plans for the weekend? It feels wonderful to say, we are planning quality beach time and that is it! :-)  As my frequent readers and friends already know, I have been doing quite a bit of shopping lately for my favorite brand, Lilly Pulitzer. Beginning around March 10, the market was flooded with a lot of opportunities to get my "fix".  (both online and in-store). Throw in the "Lunch At Lilly" promotion, then the Via shoppes online sales and you have one very spent out Shopaholic. Now I don't know about you, but once I make a purchase (at any retailer, Ebay, even Shopaholic's Preppy Closet) and the seller has my $$$ or card number, I want the merchandise to arrive quickly. And honestly, if it doesn't arrive within 7-10 days after purchase, I start to get a little squirrely. Now if the seller/store has a legitimate issue and notifies me of said issue, I do have patience and can deal with the problem without getting ne...

This is an annual event (generally the 2nd Saturday of March) where the corporate Lilly stores, as well as some Via shops, offer a fantastic gift with purchase. The minimum purchase level is usually $500 but the gifts - they are awesome! Most of the GWP's are produced just for the Lunch At Lilly promotion and are not available for general purchase. Even more exciting than the GWP's, by making a purchase you are entered into a contest to win a trip to Lilly's corporate headquarters. Also known as "The Pink Palace" - winners will spend a day at Lilly's headquarters and have the opportunity to design their own print! Wow - wouldn't that be fun?!?! Talk about the experience of a lifetime! :-) So what if I don't live near a Lilly Pulitzer store? You all know I love to shop online and via the phone, so of course I participated in this year's promot...

Oops. Remember my resolve to lose 10 more pounds before I purchased another Lilly dress??? Double Oops, I fell off the wagon on Saturday. BUT - it was for this highly coveted Lilly Pulitzer Sullivan dress... Isn't it fabulous? I plan to find a red belt (possibly patent leather) to wear with the dress - or my red starfish Miss Trish sandals.  Perfect for 4th of July, yes? :-) If you have this on your summer "must have" shopping list - get it quickly. My sources report it is literally *flying* out of the stores! And remember, you can still use the 20% coupon at the Lilly Pulitzer corporate stores (my favorite is Southlake, TX) until May 24. TGIF Shopaholics! Fess up now - did you order from the Lilly Pulitzer sale on Rue La La yesterday? I was *gasp* without an internet connection most of the day, so I had to enlist the help of a trusted friend to finally score my coveted Mar A Lago tote handbag in gold. The Shopaholic was VERY happy to get the call of sweet success!
