Trend Spotting: Leopard Print Shoes For Fall

Image
Hello friends!  How do you feel about leopard print accessories? Leopard is predicted to be one of the hottest trends for the fall and winter collections and is popping up everywhere! While I don't necessarily see myself wearing a leopard print dress or coat, a leopard print shoe seems a much easier way to embrace the craze in a subtle manner. All of these options seem to fit the bill quite nicely. Steve Madden, Bevv in Leopard, $129, available HERE . Kourtney Kardashian has on something very similar in the photo below. What do you think? Leopard overload or just enough? Tory Burch, Reva Ballet Flat in Leopard Print, $225, available HERE Sam Edelman, Ria in New Nude Leopard, $160, available HERE . Doesn't Jennifer Lopez look pretty in a nude colored dress with leopard print booties? Lilly Pulitzer, Resort Chic Wedge Metallic in Chocolate Brown, $198, available HERE Will you be wearing leopard this fall? What do you think of my selections? Have a Terrific T...

Wish List Wednesday

Image
Happy Hump Day, Shopaholics! Today I thought it would be fun to bring back Wish List Wednesday. I haven't featured a wish list - at least on Wednesday - in a very long time!  So without further ado, a few things that are on this shopaholic's radar. Tory Burch, Dean Metallic Hobo, $395. This would be a great piece for me, as I generally prefer to carry a neutral, solid color leather handbag. I've been carrying my gold Lilly Pulitzer Mar-A-Lago tote for several months and it might need to be retired soon...the Dean appears to be a suitable replacement. Calypso St. Barth for Target, Shireen dress, Alexa tunic and Smock Neck dress , various prices up to $79.99.  Yes, you're reading this right. Calypso St. Barth will be available at Target on May 1, 2011. For those of us who live in a vacation state of mind, this collection is perfect. I predict a quick sellout on all the pieces and will certainly "need", at a minimum , the Shireen and Alexa. I cannot wait t...

True Cost of a Hunting Trip...

Image
Happy Thursday! I had to look twice at the calendar - is it really Thursday and where has the week gone? I'm honestly not sure... Many of you will recall, last week DH was gone to the hunting camp for several days. While he was gone, I "might" have had a wee bit too much fun ordering up some of my favorite goodies. He went back this week, but is now home. And I can pinky promise swear I have been a good girl so far. (hey, the week isn't over...don't get too excited!) Yesterday * thank goodness* all the boxes had been disposed of, this picture was already taken, and all the new goodies were snuggled into their proper place two hours before the Mr. arrived. The only exception is our new bedding, which will be put out once the guest bedroom has been painted. Maybe I have a chance at this next month... The Haul, or "Damages" included: *Lilly Pulitzer Bedding Set, Bedskirt and Pillow Shams/Covers from Garnett Hill *Tory Burch Romy flats in Turquoise...

Shopaholic Is Cleaning House!

Image
Happy Wednesday, my friends and fellow Shopaholics! Today I'm happy to report that our Coastal Cleanup went off without a hitch yesterday, the weather was gorgeous and lots of items were collected in advance of the oil arriving on our coast. The current "oil forecast" says we might have landfall on Friday. Never in a million years, did I think we would have an oil forecast. It's like a surreal experience around these parts. Anyway, today I wanted to offer up some FUN items to my blog readers in a Shopaholic Blog Sale. I'm constantly cleaning up and rotating things, and I buy way more than I should (don't laugh - please!). As a result, I always have LOTS of sell. Contact me if you're interested in anything ( lori.driver@hotmail.com ) - Paypal payments only, please. Contact me if you have any questions about anything! If you guys like this, I might start hosting a "blog sale" once a month. We'll see how it goes. :-) Until tomorrow.....DH is...

TUNIC Obsession Continues.......

Image
Happy Saturday my friends! DH and I went to a seafood festival today and had a great time! We thought it would be a great place to also have lunch, but we didn't. Instead we strolled around the car show (lots of cool ones today - big engines and snazzy paint jobs still impress me!) and shopped the craft show. After the festival, we went to lunch at a local dive called "King Neptunes" and feasted on fried shrimp and fried catfish. After that food and two beers, it was nap time! :-)  While getting dressed today, I was thinking about how many TUNICS are in my wardrobe and how often I find myself reaching for them. During the fall and winter, I'm generally in a tunic and jeans or cords. When the weather is a tad warmer, my tunics get a little lighter (think light cotton and linen blends) and I wear them with skirts and white capris. There are a few I'm currently coveting - let me know what you think! Do you love these as much as I do??? :-) Lilly Pulitzer PILA...

TORY BURCH Sale Online, and it's MAJOR

Image
Hello Fashionistas! Today's post will be short, due to a Day #4 of a nasty migraine headache. I have placed a call to the neurologist for some new, and hopefully strong, medication! There is a FABU sale happening over at the official Tory Burch website. You can access it  HERE . They also have FREE Shipping on all the Revas - NO promo code necessary. What a great deal! Earlier today I picked out this pair of Revas (Coconut Stingray Leather Ballet Flat) Plus a scarf that would be perfect for my Bama home games (red elephants)!!!  Sorry that picture is no longer available, grrrr. So I put both these items in my shopping cart and walked away for a while. Shopaholic with a migraine has a tad more sense than Shopaholic sans migraine. Well I waited too long!!! They were GONE two hours later. Of course I didn't "need" new Revas - or a Scarf - but I'm a little bummed. Be sure to check out the online sale if you're a Tory fan, b...
