Salt Water Saturday: Bringing The Party To Big D


As you all know from yesterday's post, we are now in Dallas and anxiously awaiting the Michigan vs. Alabama match-up tomorrow night at Cowboys Stadium. There are tons of people here, both Bama and Michigan fans. 

 Here are some of our photos from yesterday. After arriving in Dallas, we spent several hours at the stadium and in the pro shop mixing with other people in town for the game. We had a blast and here's the proof! (and proof of my purchases - but they're not all for me, at least one of those hats is for the DH)



We also enjoyed a wonderful dinner out and we might have a few extra bags with us...ha! More on that dinner later! :-)

Birthday Celebration: Lilly Pulitzer Giveaway from The Pink Pelican

Today I will celebrate my birthday. I'm a little bit sad to report, the DH is out of town and won't be able to come home for the festivities. Not that it's a big deal or anything (not a milestone birthday or anything), but I am a LEO and y'all know it's true - Leos love their birthday. I'm no exception! Tonight I will celebrate with my sister and BFF by going out to dinner, and tomorrow with birthday cake and gifts with my parents, nephews and friends. I'm so thankful for it all, but I'm going to miss my sweetie. :-(  My friends at The Pink Pelican in Huntsville have generously offered a giveaway to commemorate the day!  Most of you know, they are one of my favorite Lilly Pulitzer Via shops and I buy lots of my Lilly from Angie and The Pelican Crew!
