Happy Monday, Shopaholics! Hope you had a great weekend! It turned cold around these parts on Sunday - I'm freezing to death! We don't get 30 degrees very often here at the beach and I can't say I'm enjoying it! Today I am excited to introduce you to a jewelry designer I recently discovered - Jewelry by Margaret. This new Etsy shop (link HERE ) is the creation of my friend Margaret in Florida. Jewelry by Margaret specializes in custom handmade jewelry - perfect for gifts, bridal parties or everyday wear. Happy Sunday, Shopaholics! Hopefully you are enjoying a lovely and relaxing weekend! How are you doing on that holiday shopping??? Earlier this week, I was getting close to nervous breakdown status. The remodel, the mess, the DH.......it was all driving me crazy. My sister intervened (bless her heart) and we escaped to Destin for a quick "girls trip". We had a blast! A few of the highlights of our trip included: The fun began with dinner at Louisiana Lagniappe. I truly believe there isn't much in life that can't be solved by Fried Eggplant, covered with lump crabmeat and hollandaise sauce. Served with a glass (bottle - we split it of course!) of pinot and a twice baked potato. The next morning, we stopped by the beach to take a few quick pictures. When DH and I lived in Destin (2.5 years ago), we sat on this exact stretch of beach anytime we could. Happy Tuesday, Shopaholics! Hope you are doing great today and enjoying the holiday season - which is now in full swing! Ask me just how bummed out I was when I couldn't make the Lilly Pulitzer warehouse sale earlier this month. Generally, I attend the spring sale which is usually held the first week of June. To mix it up a bit, this year I was looking forward to making my first trip for the fall sale, which is always the week before Thanksgiving. I had my ticket booked, and arrangements made. I was staying with my buddy Caitlin, almost had my sister Amy talked into joining me, and planned to meet many of my blog/Facebook/Lilly friends while there. I was so excited! Then we started what is forever after going to be known as "The Remodel". We are doing most of the work ourselves - and it has turned into quite the project. Happy Cyber Monday, Shopaholics! Can I tell you a secret? I don't "do" the Black Friday AKA day after Thanksgiving shopping madness! Never have. Never will. It's just not my thing. Now I will confess - I did participate in "Pink Friday" - which is just fun fun fun. Guilty as charged - called and placed an order on Friday with one of my favorite Lilly stores (Southlake, TX). They had a ton of items on sale from the Fall collection and I just "needed" a few - plus I received a GWP so that makes me happy! Today is Cyber Monday - AKA the largest online shopping day of the year (in terms of $$$'s spent). One of my favorite sites, Beauty Ticket , is offering a fantastic deal to celebrate. Happy Thanksgiving, Shopaholics! On this day most of us are celebrating the holiday with our family and friends. Activities include: eating more than we should, having more than one dessert, partaking in a little bit of wine, taking a late afternoon nap, watching a football game (Go Cowboys!). What are you thankful for this year? Of course I am most thankful for my wonderful DH, family and friends - as you would expect me to say. However, I am also thankful for the following...
