Lilly Pulitzer Summer Favorites
Happy Thursday to you! DH is on vaca the next two days, and we plan to split our time between here and my parents home on Dauphin Island.
As you probably remember from yesterday's post, I am more than a little concerned about the oil spill out in the Gulf of Mexico. It's stressing me out, so in true Shopaholic style, I spent a little time looking over the new Summer collection by Lilly Pulitzer.
A few of my favorites, some will certainly move from favorite status to "must have" status soon!

There are so many styles and prints in this collection that I absolutely love! Two items of note: 1) I'm loving the blue and white or blue and coral colored items more than ever this season, and 2) there are no tunics! I love Lilly's tunics!!! WHERE ARE THEY!?!?! Come on Lilly, I need my fix. I'm a Tuniaholic (second only to a Shopaholic). Help me out here. I wear a tunic with white or denim capris/jeans for every season! Bring them back!!! :-)
I can't believe it took me this long to sit down and study the new collection.....normally I'm on the computer the day it's released and search every website for my favorites. When the Summer collection was put up, I was so busy hosting giveaways, time got away from me over here, haha. And boy did I need a distraction from obsessing about stuff I can't control.
What are your favorites, your "must haves" from this collection? Another topic - are you willing to pay full price for your Lilly, or do you always wait on a sale? Talk to me!

I am obsessed with the stuffed shells worth shift!!!! I'm pretty much obsessed with that print!

ReplyDeleteI love the Sandra and Daphne dresses. Hoping to go try them on today, in just a little bit. Your choices are fab! Hope y'all have a wonderful time this weekend spent with family. I'm planning on doing the same. :)
ReplyDeleteAh! The Lilly site is down- I was excited to browse the new items. Though I LOVE finding things on sale, I've splurged on several full price dresses already this summer. Also- love finding Lilly at TJMaxx. My first and still favorite Lilly pants were found there and I was hooked.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the oil spill.... it is so stressful, I'm glad I'm not one of the people who had to make the decision about whether to burn it or not... I do hope that the burning really does help keep the shores clean! Can ya'll see or smell the smoke?

So sorry about the oil spill...hope it doesn't affect your area! Love the Daphne and still pining for the Twyla dress...and no, can't pay full price so I just wait for the sales!

ReplyDeleteI always have to have my Lilly dresses right away! I want to be the first one wearing it! :) I recently bought the Sandra dress in pink and the Sullivan dress in yellow and I thought the price points on both of those were great--they seemed more reasonable than other collections.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite, MUST HAVE piece from the whole collection is the Briddie dress in Hotty Pink Full Sun. It comes out any day now, and I am biting my nails in anticipation! xxoo
