Salt Water Saturday: Kid Rock: Labor Day in Orange Beach


Happy Saturday everyone! 


Earlier this week, it was announced that Kid Rock was performing on Labor Day at The Wharf in Orange Beach. As many of my readers and friends know, he is one of my favorites. I don't mind embracing my "inner redneck" and admitting my fascination with Kid Rock. One day I'll tell y'all the story of meeting him in the DFW airport...


This morning me and my BFF Ashleigh spent three hours outside, in the rain, getting tickets for the concert. Although we were soaked and not comfortable in the least - we were able to get the eight tickets needed for our group to all sit together! 


Soooo excited for this one. I love an outdoors concert, and Kid Rock....oh yeah, baby! We are so there! :-)

Birthday Celebration: Lilly Pulitzer Giveaway from The Pink Pelican

Today I will celebrate my birthday. I'm a little bit sad to report, the DH is out of town and won't be able to come home for the festivities. Not that it's a big deal or anything (not a milestone birthday or anything), but I am a LEO and y'all know it's true - Leos love their birthday. I'm no exception! Tonight I will celebrate with my sister and BFF by going out to dinner, and tomorrow with birthday cake and gifts with my parents, nephews and friends.
