Birthday Celebration: Lilly Pulitzer Giveaway from The Pink Pelican

Today I will celebrate my birthday. I'm a little bit sad to report, the DH is out of town and won't be able to come home for the festivities. Not that it's a big deal or anything (not a milestone birthday or anything), but I am a LEO and y'all know it's true - Leos love their birthday. I'm no exception! Tonight I will celebrate with my sister and BFF by going out to dinner, and tomorrow with birthday cake and gifts with my parents, nephews and friends. I'm so thankful for it all, but I'm going to miss my sweetie. :-( 




My friends at The Pink Pelican in Huntsville have generously offered a giveaway to commemorate the day!  Most of you know, they are one of my favorite Lilly Pulitzer Via shops and I buy lots of my Lilly from Angie and The Pelican Crew! I love knowing that I am supporting a small, female owned business. In today's economy, I think that is very important. If you are considering any purchases from the new Lilly Pulitzer Fall 2011 line (or are looking for spring/summer 2011 items on sale), please be sure to check out The Pink Pelican. Their website (link HERE) shows all available items and of course, you can always phone the store to find out about their in-store specials. They will be happy to ship items to you and are so helpful over the phone! 


Now - for the fun! The giveaway item is a special edition Murfee Scarf by Lilly Pulitzer (retail value $118) in the "Palm Beach Centennial" print. This is a special toile print, created to represent Lilly and it's hometown, Palm Beach. A rare opportunity to own a piece of Lilly's history and celebrate the company's roots!
