Miss Gulf Shores Teen USA


Happy Wednesday! 

 This morning, just a quick post to tell you all about my friend - Lindsey Hamner. She is competing for the Miss Teen Alabama title in December 2012, and is the local representative for Gulf Shores. 

 I have known Lindsey for years, and she is the coolest 15-year old girl I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her mother and I are BFF's, and they spend part of the year here in Gulf Shores - the rest of the time they live in the Birmingham metro area. 

 Lindsey and I like to hang out on the beach, we run together, and we wear our Lilly together!

Happy Tuesday, Shopaholics! Thanks so much for all your kind words and comments after my last blog post. Admittedly I was feeling a wee bit sorry for myself and a little unloved. Birthday Celebration: Lilly Pulitzer Giveaway from The Pink Pelican

Today I will celebrate my birthday. I'm a little bit sad to report, the DH is out of town and won't be able to come home for the festivities. Not that it's a big deal or anything (not a milestone birthday or anything), but I am a LEO and y'all know it's true - Leos love their birthday. I'm no exception! Tonight I will celebrate with my sister and BFF by going out to dinner, and tomorrow with birthday cake and gifts with my parents, nephews and friends. I'm so thankful for it all, but I'm going to miss my sweetie. :-(  My friends at The Pink Pelican in Huntsville have generously offered a giveaway to commemorate the day!  Most of you know, they are one of my favorite Lilly Pulitzer Via shops and I buy lots of my Lilly from Angie and The Pelican Crew!
